Maker's Notes

Both supple and strong, lightweight and durable, our British goat leather is absolutely perfect for making desert boots that wear like a slipper from day one. Designed to be versatile and hardwearing, The Desert Goat can also be resoled making it a guaranteed long term ally. Although a British cultural icon, sadly desert boots are very rarely made in the UK anymore. For this limited collaboration, each boot will be handmade by Jadd Friedman in his Suffolk workshop. Jadd is the UK’s leading expert on the “stitchdown” construction method by which the natural rubber crepe soles are attached securely to the leather upper.
