Delivery & Returns

UK shipping is free over £150 and always tracked. In stock orders placed on weekdays before 1pm will usually be dispatched the same day. International orders over £250 also include free shipping.

UK returns are free of charge via Collect+, so if you change your mind or are not happy with your order, you may return it within 30 days. International returns will incur a cost. Inside you'll find a padded laptop compartment joined by three internal pockets to hold your notebook, water bottle, jacket and essentials. However you wear it, carry with pride from work to the weekend. Available in brown chestnut leather, the Gote is the only bag you'll ever need for work, play and travel.

Our tote is a classic large leather tote bag, it has three internal slip pockets with one designed specifically to hold up to a 15" laptop. Handles and a detachable shoulder strap are made from sturdy yet soft vegetable tanned leather, strong enough to handle life's knocks and scrapes. An open design with no closure, it is fully lined with quality UK-finished cotton.

    This is a special collaboration with Knepp Wilding.

    Each piece is unique and reflects the lives of the deer that roamed the Sussex wildland. Your bag may show scars from the rutting season, or marks where the deer have moved through blackthorn. We choose to celebrate this natural variation in the leather, the beauty in the character it brings and the stories it can tell.

    Designed to offer the best of both worlds, our "Gote" tote bag has a short handle for when you want to grab and go and a detachable shoulder strap for when you need your hands free. Like all Billy Tannery bags, it is made in Somerset in small batches so attention to detail is guaranteed.

    We tan our deer leather in our own small-batch tannery using traditional bark tanning methods. This technique not only makes our leather environmentally friendly but also allows it to age beautifully, picking up a unique patina throughout its long life. Deer leather makes for a soft tote bag that is also incredibly durable, so there are no compromises.
