The Zip Tote

The Zip Tote is our new unisex leather tote bag. More compact than The Gote or Parkland Tote, but in many ways an upgrade. We have added two Swiss-made brass zips, one as a main closure for the bag and another for an internal pocket. Fully lined with quality UK-finished cotton, a padded internal pocket safely houses laptops up to 14". The mid-length handle is made from sturdy vegetable-tanned leather and designed to be worn over the shoulder or in the hand.

Our most-requested product for a number of years has been a smaller version of our original Gote bag with a closure on the main pocket. After much design and development, the resulting Zip Tote has a sturdy brass zip attached to a leather collar that can be folded down when not in use. As with all Billy Tannery bags, it is made in Somerset by expert leatherworkers and no detail has been overlooked.

We produce all of our leather in our own farm-based tannery using traditional bark tanning methods. This ancient method guarantees the very best environmental credentials as well as a beautiful material that will grow in character throughout its life. Goat and deer leather makes for a soft, lightweight tote bag that is also extremely durable, so there are no compromises.
