Leather Accessories

Each of our leather accessories are handmade here in Britain. It all starts at our very own microtannery in the Midlands, where the leather is tanned by hand before it's passed on to workshops in Somerset and Leicestershire.

Our leather is handcrafted to celebrate the individual variations of each piece. Artificial coatings and pigments are common in 'luxury' leather goods. But we're free of that. Instead our accessories make the most of the pronounced grain and natural markings of the skins used.

Billy Tannery began with the aim of creating a sustainable solution to the thousands of goatskins that were being thrown away by the food industry each year. Today we turn them into leather accessories and goods, handmade by expert tanners and craftsmen in Britain. Our small-batch tannery recycles 90% of it's water, turning waste in compost to remain as environmentally-friendly as possible.
